I'd like to share our home-based business to everyone specially for those who want to start a perfume business. My boyfriend and I started this business last December 2012 to cover several expenses at home and to finance our out of town travels, movie dates, dining out and buying personal stuff.
Our initial investment cost at around P25,000 to produce 16 designer-inspired perfume scents and several empty perfume bottles.
During the start, we pack our perfume in 1ml vial samplers and have it distributed through our network of distributors (mostly friends and neighbors who are into direct selling). We relied on this network of re-sellers because our house is not located in high-foot traffic area. If our refilling station could have better location it might made more sales.
So, we thought of a way to replicate this money-making venture in other area and also to bring this business more accessible to more end-customers.
The photo above is an illustration of the Perfume Refilling Station that we are creating. Ideally, it is a business package that consists of the following items:
- 15 bottles of best selling designer-inspired scents
- 10 set of perfume samplers
- 15pcs 10ml empty spray glass bottles
- 15pcs 30ml empty spray glass bottles
- 15pcs 50ml empty spray glass bottles
- 5pcs 100ml empty spray glass bottles
- 1 Liter perfume grade alcohol
Currently, we are in the process of finalizing several details of the business.
